Le tutorat dans les centres AIMS est une merveilleuse opportunit\u00e9 de rencontrer et de travailler en \u00e9troite collaboration avec des scientifiques hautement respect\u00e9s du monde entier et des \u00e9tudiants brillants et tr\u00e8s motiv\u00e9s de toute l'Afrique. Les \u00e9tudiants de l'AIMS ont de solides ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents en sciences math\u00e9matiques (y compris les math\u00e9matiques pures et appliqu\u00e9es, la physique, l'informatique, la biologie math\u00e9matique et d'autres domaines). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While outstanding visiting lecturers are recruited from all over the world to teach and prepare students for advanced postgraduate research, the courses are unusually broad in scope and employ the latest pedagogical methods to stimulate critical and creative thinking. To facilitate student participation and follow-up, each centre offers a Tutoring Fellowship, which permits post-doc and doctorate researchers to work as dedicated teaching assistants, with the responsibility of providing capacity building for the students 24\/7. The unique residential character of the institute allows for optimum interaction between students and tutors in a congenial environment at all hours.
