Dakar, Senegal, Monday, 10th August 2026
AIMS Senegal welcomed His Excellency Yuval Waks, Ambassador of Israel to Senegal, and his delegation to its new campus in Dakar for the presentation of a generous donation of 22 computers to the Institute.
Prof. Mouhamed Moustapha Fall, AIMS Senegal Centre President, along with members of staff and students, warmly received the Ambassador and his delegation during the visit.
This valuable contribution is the result of ongoing collaboration between AIMS Senegal and the Embassy of Israel. The donated equipment will strengthen access to essential computing resources for AIMS students and researchers, supporting the Institute’s mission to advance mathematical sciences and train the next generation of African scientific leaders.
“This donation reflects a shared commitment to scientific education in Africa, and we are grateful for this meaningful gesture of partnership,” said Prof. Fall.
AIMS Senegal looks forward to building on this collaboration as part of its broader engagement with its Global Network and international partners.
